STEP ONE: JOIN A FREE INTRO TALK

Join a free 60 min introductory talk with me via Zoom or in person. In this hour you can learn more about the practise, the history and we do a dive into what happens in each of the 4 sessions.
This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions or concerns you have before you commit any further.

One of the other things we discuss in this session is why you would learn to meditate. Because once we know why and are clear we are more likely to keep doing it and then feel the benefits.

This is an obligation free talk.

STEP TWO: TAKE THE COURSE

Once you have decided to enrol in the learn to meditate course, you will attend four 90 minute sessions on consecutive days.

In this course you will learn this simple and effortless technique. Each session we will go deeper into the mechanics of the practise and pull it apart, so you have a good understanding what you are doing. Each of these sessions are experiential, so you get to put it into practise under my guidance, helping you along the way. Together we go through all your questions as you experience it and by the end of the fourth session, you take the “harness” off and fly all by yourself.

DAY 1

Initiation day

Starting with a ceremony in gratitude to the tradition. You will receive a personalised mantra and you will experience your first meditation.

Day 2

Logistics day

Here we dive more into how the mantra works, talk about the practice and how to integrate it into your daily life.

Day 3

Mechanics of meditation

We look at the relationship with the mind and body and the accumulation of stress and tension in the body.

Day 4

Our intention

We discuss why people meditate and dive into some of the natural by-products and higher states of consciousness

STEP THREE: BE PART OF A COMMUNITY

Once you have taken your meditation into daily life, we all know there are times when life gets a bit wobbly or overwhelming and we start to forget about our technique. That is why it is important to feel supported. Every week you are invited to join a drop-in meditation session either in person or via Zoom and experience reconnecting or enhancing your meditation in a group session. It is powerful when meditating in a group and I can help answer any questions you might have from meditating at home.

This is open to everyone who has learnt Vedic Meditation.
