After school activities, sport, training, study, events, homework and exams; There is a lot to get done each day at school or Uni. Anxiety and stress around assessments, exams, social media, friendships and just fitting in is pretty standard for students and young adults.

From a recent study I did on stress management, it has become clear that escalating anxiety and overwhelm are very common. Being able to have clarity to absorb information and reduce anxiety is key. COVID has also impacted lesson and lectures, where the ability to ask the teacher questions during the lecture or lessons and it has caused a feeling of overwhelm.

I have worked with students during year 12 and at Uni and have had huge success in the form of their grades, by supporting their practise of Meditation and 1:1 mentoring that helps talk through the anxieties as they occur.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The first step is attending an intro talk followed by the Learn to Meditate course. Included in your course fee is a private one on one mentoring session about 1-2 weeks after learning meditation.

Here you can ask questions, check your practise and discuss any topics you want. In my recent work with year 12 and uni students we talked about what pathways of career to go down and focussing their direction to those particular subjects.

Helping young people navigate through daily hurdles such as body image, friendships, relationships, pressures around social media and peer pressure, with the ultimate goal of discovering their own identity and broadening their sense of self.

Having worked with students, I have found private sessions most effective with their practise. That is why I include a free session with my Learn to Meditate course.

Learn tools to relieve stress and anxiety, through advanced practices.

We discuss about your mind/body type and how it influences your day to day functioning and compliments your personality traits.

We address topics such as anxiety, depression, anger/aggression, OCD and risk taking.

Ali helped me a lot through my final year 12 exams by giving me a number of stress relieving techniques in my mentoring sessions and encouraging me to trust the process of meditating twice a day.  I noticed a huge change in my ability to remain calm under these stressful situations and think clearly which dramatically improved my grades.
